The Museum features a selection of both collections on permanent display. The remaining collection is curated and cared for on site and is available for researchers by appointment. Requests to view objects are assessed on a case by case basis, and are limited due to the nature of the collections. Appointments are available Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-4pm. If you are not able to physically attend an appointment, we offer a limited research service (charged); please see the Fees & Charges section below for more details.

The Museum is open to enquiries regarding objects on display or in the museum storerooms. Please note that visits to view objects which are not on display are by pre-booked appointment only. We may also be able to assist with your enquiry via email or telephone.

Fees and charges
Making an appointment is free. However, there are fees and charges for specific use of the collections, such as photography and scanning. Fees and charges are available to view here.
High resolution images of our collection are available for purchase and license. If you’d like to contact us regarding reproducing images from the catalogue please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
